Flying.org is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit aviation organization built to help the next generation find its way into aviation.
We connect young people and newcomers with the pilots, mentors, airports, organizations, events, and real-world experiences that can turn curiosity into participation. We are not here to replace the aviation groups already doing important work. We exist to help more people discover them, reach them, and feel that they belong.
Founded by three professional aviators, Flying.org combines aviation experience, storytelling, community service, and technology around one simple belief:
Aviation should not feel like a closed world available only to people who already know the way in.
Flying.org is the open door. You may not know a pilot.
You may have never visited an airport. You may not know where aviation could take you.
That is where Flying.org begins.
The essence of Flying.org is our passion to inspire students to be the best they can be through aviation, and to ultimately help them achieve success in a career in the aviation industry. We are dedicated to raising awareness of our cause, accomplishing our mission statement and serving kids and our community.
